An orientation for new members and grand fellowship night was held at D3780 Rotary Center Global Lounge on August 27. This event was an interclub meeting of RC Timog QC and daughter club RC Cosmopolitan Timog.
The meeting was called to order by Champion Presidents Egay Aguirre (Timog) and Karla Paderna (Cosmo Timog).
Past District Gov. Rey David talked about the elements of a vibrant club – vision, fellowship, projects and leadership. Past Pres. Boyet Carrera discussed the importance of classification and its origins in the early history of Rotary. Past District Gov. Francis Rivera recountef the beginnings of RC Timog QC. Immediate Past Pres. Jojo Mejia shared about being a Paul Harris Fellow and its positive impact on his life.
After the formal proceedings, the night continued with fellowship, music and dancing.
