LET’S DESTROY DENGUE DISEASE is a program of Rotary District 3780, supported by the club since its inception. The project aims to reduce morbidity and mortality due to dengue by acquiring additional spraying equipment and insecticides to reinforce the city government’s overall dengue program. Dengue is an acute infectious disease usually affecting infants and young children transmitted through mosquito bites. Adults are not spared and are also vulnerable. While there have been several dengue campaigns in the past, this disease remains to be a major public health concern and must be properly addressed. RC Timog-QC and RC Metro SFDM will address this concern through a donation of fumigating machines and chemicals to the Bagong Henerasyon Foundation and QC Health Department to fight, contain, and prevent dengue cases.
