FOLIC ACID DISTRIBUTION TO 258 PREGNANT WOMEN IN T

BABIES NEED FOLIC ACID TO DEVELOP NORMALLY AND BE IN GOOD HEALTH WHILE IN THEIR MOTHER’S WOMB. FOLIC ACID HELPS IN THE PREVENTION OF BIRTH DEFECTS. RC TIMOG PROVIDED THE FOLIC ACID AND THE LOCAL PARTNER , A LOCAL COLLEGE IN ODIONGAN, ROMBLON, ESTI ROMBLON, SHOULDERED THE LOGISTICS EXPENSE IN THE DISTRIBUTION, MONITORING AND EDUCATION OF THE BENEFICIARIES ON THE IMPORTANCE OF FOLIC ACID IN THEIR BABIES HEALTH. LOCAL GOVERNMENT’S HEALTH PERSONNELS ALSO ASSISTED IN THE LECTURE. RC TIMOG PRESIDENT ERHARD LARGA & RC TIMOG ROTARIAN EMMANUEL SADIWA AND PERSONNELS OF THE RC TIMOG’S PARTNER INSTITUTION, ESTI-ROMBLON, DID THE FIELD WORK VISITING ALL THE BARANGAYS EVEN THE REMOTE ONES CONDUCTING LECTURES AND DISTRIBUTING FOLIC ACID.
BY DEC. 2015 AND ONWARDS, THE FIELD WORKERS OF ESTI WLL VISIT THE BENEFICIARIES TO VERIFY IF ALL THE BABIES BORN ARE HEALTHY TO VALIDATE SUCCESS OF PROJECT.
