FIRESIDE CHAT ON MEMBERSHIP AND CLUB DEVELOPMENT
On September 9, 2023, the Rotary Center Foundation Inc. Center for Leadership conducted the Session 2 of President’s Course for the Presidents-Elect of District 3780.
One of the highlights of the program was the Fireside Chat on Membership and Club Development where the members of the Rotary Club of Timog led by Hope Creating President Jigs de Belen shared their best practices on recruitment and retention.
Members and past presidents of RC Timog shared their experiences on how they were recruited to join the club, the challenges encountered by them, and the solutions made to continuously grow and develop their membership.
One of the best practices discussed was the fun activities like the Hawaiian Night
Fellowship held last August 29, 2023 where Past President Arnel Mateo, Chair for District Membership Development, was invited as a speaker on Rotary Information. Past President Arnel joined the Fireside Chat during the open forum and helped answer questions on Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
The segment was moderated by Past District Governor Francis Rivera. The Session 2 of President’s Course was hosted by the Rotary Club of Sta. Lucia Novaliches led by Hope Creating President Mai Lacaden.
