Rotary Club of Timog QC successfully concluded its 30th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies last July 25, 2019 at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club with Champion of Service President Edgardo “EGAY” Aguirre.
The event was graced by District Governor Bernadette “BH” Herrera-Dy and the rest of the District team. Eight new members were inducted into the Club, bringing the membership to 66. They were “charged” with a speech by Past District Gov. Francis Rivera, and sworn in by Gov. BH.
Club sisterhood agreements were renewed with RC Naga and RC Daejeon Jeil, South Korea. The Club also pledged a total of US$51,000 of donations to The Rotary Foundation this year.
The grand event was accompanied by the soothing music of the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. One highlight of the night was a father-daughter duet of “A Whole New World” with Pres. Egay.
After the formal ceremonies, the night was filled with music and dancing. It was truly a wonderful night for the members, family and friends of the Club.
